Daily Prayer: Rest in Your Sovereign Goodness

Lord,

I pray that you would help me to more fully know how deeply you care for me. Help me to trust you when you say that I am more important than the “birds of the air”. They didn’t plan what they will eat today and yet you feed them. I pray that today I would choose to rest in your sovereign goodness instead of worrying about the future.
