Lord,
How often I make choices that seem to say I am too important to sleep. “If I don’t do it then who will?” I ask myself. However, I know that you are sovereign over all things so I don’t need to act indispensable. You created me as a human and so I need sleep. I know that in part sleep is meant to show that I need to rely on you alone. Not on my effort, skills, or abilities. I pray Lord that I would sleep well this week knowing that you are God alone and you have all things under your control.
