Daily Prayer: Accept the Gift of Sleep

Lord,

Thank you for your words in Psalm 3:5. “I lay down and slept; I woke again for the Lord sustained me.” I know that sleep is a profound gift that you have given me. Please help me to fully accept it each night with a glad heart and not with grumbling that I couldn’t get more done in the day. Please help me to accept this gift gratefully each night.
